| Picture is not an exact representation of the product. A quote from Turbo magazine Febuary 2003 issue "Our blitzkrieg tech attack was at full song when we heard Greddy was testing turbos for its basic bolt-on upgrade for the stout Subaru WRx. We went into full combat mode and crashed its R&D party held at the company's HQ in Irvine and at GT Motorsports in Ranch Cucamong, Calif. Greddy had zeroed in on a T518Z turbo, a fresh unit from Greddy's parent company in Japan. Developed by mitsubishi the 8cm^2 compressor housing gets maximum thrust from the 18g Wheel. The T518Z features a special flange that matches the odd, triangle-shaped WRX Downpipe. The unit was bolted on and the WRX was powered up on GT's four-wheel-drive dynojey. The Subaru, fitted with a greddy front-mount intercooler kit and evo exhaust system, ran 12 psi of boost. With the stock ECU heading the tuning effort, the WRX laid 238.5 hp and 215.2 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. Greddy highly recommends its e-manage tuning computer because the engine can run a tad lean on the top end if boost is pushed past the 12-psi. Tuning with the e-manage netted 280 plus whp. WRX pilots looking for a quick power fix have a real direct bolt-on option in greddy's T518Z upgrade." This kit includes all oil lines, hardware, turbo, and connectors for installation of the turbo. It is a direct replacement.
