| Perrin's catch can removes oil vapor from crank case gases before they can condense in the intake stream and holds them until they can be disposed of. Horsepower is increased by eliminating the engine's current requirement to try and reburn this relatively noncombustible oil. Engine longevity is lengthened due to this oil not having the ability to gum up the valvetrain, and various other moving parts and sensors. A thin film of oil coating the inside of the intercooler will insulate the air to air exchange and lower the ability of the intercooler to cool the intake air charge. Getting rid of oil vapors in the intake tract virtually eliminates this problem. This catch can is easy to clean and maintain and has a built in fluid level gauge to show when it needs to be emptied. Constructed from 3 ply high temperature silicone, this catch can includes vacuum hoses made from extruded silicone composite. All hose connectors are constructed of fiberglass reinforced ABS plastic and are rated to 400 degrees. This catch can includes specific instructions for installation on your Evo and will easily mount in your Evo's engine bay.
